To escape traffic jams and oppressive summer heat, this time we present a selection of favourite hotels in South Tyrol - for a long weekend, for a holiday stay or as a stopover while passing through. The Parkhotel Mondschein in Bolzano already offered overnight accommodations for travellers heading to Italy via the Brenner Pass in the 13th century. The listed building in the old town reopened in May after several months of renovation, with a great sense of the hotel's nostalgic character - authentic retro design meets modern art. The 1477 Reichhalter Hotel in Lana also belongs to the same group, where you can hear the brook rushing and relax wonderfully. The house has been a butcher's shop, mill, bakery, sawmill, barn, stable, tavern, coffee house - now it is a wonderful place with stylishly renovated rooms. The Hotel Weisses Kreuz inn Burgeis offers an individual offer for every demand - in the 800-year-old, listed Löwen or in the new building built in 2013. The large SPA area with various pools, sauna and relaxation rooms makes the stay a relaxing one. By the way, you can also eat exquisitely in all the hotels mentioned.
